Itinerary

Day 1: Aswan

We’ll pick you up on the first day at Aswan airport, the train station, or your hotel. Then we’ll take you to the cruise boat, where your full room and board is waiting for you. First, we’ll visit the Temple of Philae, and take you to a local perfumery to learn about the process of making their fragrances—the perfect start!

Day 2: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu

After breakfast, anyone who wants to can take an optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel, which comes highly recommended.

Then, back on the boat, we’ll eat and begin to sail along the Nile, arriving at the Kom Ombo Temple at sunset, one of the images of Egypt which will stay with you for life. Then having visited the temple, we’ll continue sailing towards Edfu, where we’ll drop anchor to eat dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Edfu – Esna – Luxor

Once we’ve eaten and with batteries fully charged, we’ll visit the Edfu Temple, dedicated to the God Horus. The cruise will then continue on its way towards Esna, where we’ll cross the famous floodgate.

Having arrived at the majestic city of Luxor we’ll visit two of the most spectacular temples in the country, the Luxor and Karnak temples. These temples were separated in antiquity by the 3-kilometre-long Avenue of the Sphinxes. Here we’ll eat and spend the night anchored in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor

Having eaten and checked out, around 6 am we’ll hit the road towards the giant necropoles nearby. We’ll visit the Valley of the Kings (taking a look inside three of the tombs) the Hatshepsut Temple (dedicated to the only woman to rule over Egypt for an extended period of time) and the Colossi of Memnon. To complete the tour, we’ll visit a stone, sculpture and alabaster store to discover the local craftsmanship.

The tour then finishes at around 4:30 pm, then we’ll take you to the Luxor airport, the train station, or whichever point in the city you would like.
