We’ll begin our adventure by picking you up from your hotel in Cairo and heading towards the enchanting Fayoum Oasis. As we traverse along the picturesque Qarun Lake, our first stop will be at Wadi Rayan, a natural sinkhole filled with captivating waterfalls situated 42 meters (138 feet) below sea level.
Our journey will then take us to Mudawara Mountain, offering a panoramic view of the stunning Fayoum Oasis. We’ll marvel at the vivid blue waters contrasting with the golden sands. Continuing our exploration, we’ll venture into the Wadi Hitan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site also known as the Valley of the Whales. Uncover the mysteries behind this open-air museum.
Following these explorations, we’ll pause for a delectable lunch and visit the quaint village of Tunis El Fayoum. We’ll explore this charming community nestled on the southern shores of Lake Qarun, known for its agricultural and fishing heritage.
Concluding the day, we’ll transport you to the camp for the night, where a typical dinner awaits, allowing you to unwind and soak in the surroundings.
Following a hearty breakfast on the second day, we’ll embark on a picturesque six-hour journey from Fayoumto Bahariya. Upon reaching the Bahariya Oasis, a revitalizing lunch awaits to fuel our exploration.
Post-lunch, our adventure continues with a tour of Bahariya’s key attractions. We’ll approach the mesmerizing salt lake and the Black Mountains, followed by a stroll to the Bir el Ghaba hot springs—ideal for a refreshing dip. Our exploration extends to the English Mountain, the highest peak in the region.
As the day concludes, we’ll return to the camp for dinner and a peaceful night’s rest in preparation for the next day.
After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll leave the camp to venture into the Black Desert region, where the distinctive El-Marssos Mountain awaits. We’ll uncover the intriguing story behind its name as we proceed. Our journey then takes us to the Bedouin village of El-Hez and the Aqapat area, where a lunch break awaits.
Continuing our drive spanning approximately 160 kilometers (99 miles), we’ll traverse the captivating landscapes of the White Desert. Stops include the Crystal Mountain, adorned with glistening quartz fragments reflecting sunlight, the Agabat Valley, and El Sharkia—a perfect backdrop for photos.
Day 3 culminates with a delightful dinner and a unique camping experience beneath the desert stars
After breakfast at the camp, we’ll set out on the final leg of our journey. The drive will take us from the camp to the Bahariya Oasis and subsequently back to the Egyptian capital. Along the way, we’ll pause so you can buy some lunch.
Our 4-day tour concludes upon reaching your hotel in Cairo at approximately 3 pm.
