At the indicated time, we’ll collect you from your hotel in Cairo before setting off on our journey to the Bahariya Oasis, which will take about 4 hours.
Aboard an offroading vehicle, we’ll take a trip through this oasis, which was a prominent agricultural hub in Pharaonic times. The area features wonderful fertile landscapes, expansive palm groves, natural springs, as well as numerous date and olive crops.
After visiting this oasis, we’ll grab a bite to eat in a local restaurant before we jump back on the 4×4, which will take us through the White Desert National Park. Throughout the tour, you’ll come to realize that not all parts of this area are a snowy white – especially as we visit the area known as the Black Desert, named as such for its basalt mounds.
We’ll then venture into the heart of the White Desert itself. We’ll appreciate the limestone formations in the Agabat Valley before continuing to the shimmering Crystal Mountain. After taking some time to appreciate this natural spectacle, we’ll further explore the sand dunes of the White Desert.
We’ll then return to the Bahariya Oasis aboard the offroading vehicle, where we’ll switch to another vehicle to bring you back to your hotel in Cairo approximately 17 hours after pickup.
